Ben Buchanan founded Unified Fields in 2020 with the mission of making the industry more humane and sustainable. He brings to the block twenty years of diverse butchering experience which has allowed him to build a strong network of industry stakeholders. A passion for a revival in artisan butchery inspires Ben to share his knowledge and strengthen the local meat economy. In addition to running the business, he is raising three children with his wife, Nicole.

MARKETING & ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Jessica Everlith brings a diverse skill set to the Unified Fields team. Having worked in advertising, organizing, and nonprofit program design, fundraising and marketing, she is the ideal person to handle our branding, marketing, communications, and administrative management. She is passionate about local meat, especially when it’s in a taco.
